How could my personal data be misused?

Bearing in mind that the exposure was limited to people with CERN access rights and that no misuse has been reported thus far, there is a very low probability that the concerned data would be misused. However, malicious individuals could use scanned signatures together with a private address to conclude contracts and create financial damage for example; should sensitive data fall into the wrong hands, such data could be used for discrimination for example.
