The EPC group is in charge of the design, development, procurement, construction, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical power systems for all accelerators, transfer lines, experimental areas and tests facilities at CERN. This mandate includes:
- Power converters for normal conducting and superconducting magnets
- High-voltage power supplies for RF amplifiers
- Solid state klystron modulators
- Power systems for particle sources and electron coolers
- High-voltage platforms for experiments
- High-voltage power supplies for electrostatic deflectors and lenses
